What you own and what it is doing
The registry is not wired to a deployment in this environment. Numbers appear once the contract addresses are set.
What staking changes
Staking records that a hashtag takes part in the daily ranking. The token never leaves your wallet: holding user assets would add risk and buy nothing, since participation is a registry entry either way.
Unstaking stops future earnings and nothing else. Whatever you already accrued stays claimable, because accrual lives in the distributor and is untouched by staking changes.
A hashtag can be sold while staked. The buyer inherits an asset that is already mining, and what the seller earned before the sale remains theirs.
